Configuring Monash Dialup Internet (Accessing the Internet from home)

This guide assumes that you have an installed and working dialup modem in your laptop or home computer, and that you wish to use it to use Monash as your ISP to access the Internet. It covers creating the connection, connecting, and then configuring your web browser.

Please note that this document is not aimed at audiences who already have broadband Internet at home, or another ISP that they wish to use instead.

Please also note that dial in numbers are subject to your telephone carrier's charges; so while using Monash Internet is free, connecting will incur a fee from your telephone carrier.
