How to install Office 2007 via the NAL object

Prerequisites:

• Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2
• Novell

Important:

• You must be logged into Novell to access NAL
• This process will uninstall previous versions of Microsoft Office so do not proceed if you require specific versions for other documents. E.g. Databases which only work under Access 97.

Instructions:

1. Click on the "Start" button
   
   

   

2. Click on "Run"
   

   

3. In the "Run" box type "nal" and click on the "OK" button
   

   
   
   
   NOTE: On some machines "nal" will not work.  In that case you will need to type "nalwin32" and click on the "OK" button

   
   
   

4. You may receive the following warning.  Click on the "Run" button to continue.
   

   
   
   

5. Double click the icon called "Office 2007"
   

   
   
   

6. The following window will appear as Office 2007 is being installed.
   

   
   
   

7. When the installation is finished the window will dissappear.  Please reboot your computer to complete the installation.
