Current Research Projects

These would be suitable for undergraduate (Bachelor of Medical Science) students or postgraduate (Master of Surgery, Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Philosophy).

The Department of Surgery(MMC) offers research projects centred around both laboratory and clinical domains which ultimately aim to improve our understanding and the practice of surgery. Students with special interests are invited to discuss these with the Head of Department, Professor Julian Smith.
