Mr Chip Farmer

Mr Farmer completed his medical degree at Monash University in 1981 with first class honors. Resident and General Surgical Training were undertaken at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australiasian College of Surgeons in 1988 and the spent four years overseas completing Specialist Colorectal Training at the world renowned centres of St Mark's Hospital, London and The Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, U.S.A.

On returning to Melbourne in 1992, Mr Farmer has maintained a Private Practice in Colon and Rectal Surgery and is commited to this speciality. He is actively involved in surgical training programs and research, and currently serves on the Executive Council of The Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand as Vice President.
