Years 3, 4 and 5 of the MBBS are conducted predominantly in the clinical environment under the supervision of medical practitioners with the important engagement of health professionals such as pharmacists, nurses, community health staff, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, radiographers to name a few. In Year 4, Extended Rural Cohort students spend extended periods in community hubs in Gisborne/Woodend, Castlemaine, Bendigo, Elmore, Kerang, Swan Hill and Mildura. Year 4 students study women's and children's health, general practice and psychological medicine
