'Does parental comorbidity impact on child development and children’s perceived wellbeing?' Non Government Organization Drug and Alcohol and Mental Health Research Grants Program. Maybery, D., & Reupert, A. Abstract: In this project we are examining the differences between families affected by parental mental illness versus families with a parent who has a dual diagnosis (mental illness and substance abuse issues), using a variety of standardized measures. We are also examining a model (from the On Track organisation) over three years, which services both types of families, by interviewing children, parents and workers in an action research model.
