Mental Health Nursing and Allied Health Workforce Scholarships

This page provides links to information about a range of scholarships available to people living and working in a regional and rural area such as Gippsland. The resource has been made available to assist people considering further study, explore possible options for financial assistance through a grant or scholarship. As the criteria and requirements for scholarships and grants are amended from time to time, the page provides links to existing sites that have been developed to provide detailed information regarding scholarships and grants.

Most tertiary institutions offer a range of scholarships and grants, however not all of this information is readily available in the public domain. Therefore we encourage anyone considering undertaking undergraduate or post graduate studies to seek information from the institution they considering applying to about the range of scholarships and study grants available to students from rural areas.

Clinical Supervision Scheme for Postgraduate Psychology Student Trainees:

APS support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders:

Honours Level Research Scholarship 2010

MUDRIH is offering two honours level research scholarships to primary health care practitioners, other health care graduates, or graduates from another discipline with an interest in health. The Master of Biomedical Science (Part 1) is an honours level qualifying program for applicants who do not hold an Honours degree at H2A or above and wish to undertake a higher degree by research to gain experience and qualifications in research.
