Rebecca Jones is interested in the interaction of human health and the environment over time. Her research interests are in environmental history, ecological approaches to health, health history and social aspects of health. Her book Green Harvest: a history of Australian Organic Farming and Gardeningis to be published by CSIRO Publishing in September 2010.

Teaching Commitments
Rebecca is unit advisor for CRH1047: Health Ecology and Environmental Change" a unit of the Master of Health Sciences and Master of Public Health. In the past she has taught Environmental Medicine, a subject for third year medical students, Health, Knowledge and Society, a subject which examines the social and cultural aspects of health and has tutored undergraduate student rural placements in Gippsland.
