Monash University Department of Rural and Indigenous Health

Postgraduate Programs

Now is the time to enrol

Do you want to add value to your professional qualifications and become more independent with advanced practice postgraduate study or research? In these times of health workforce shortages in rural areas, our postgraduate students have pursued further study to be more effective practitioners, and become leaders in a world where health services now require people skilled in working collaboratively and in researching for evidence based practice.

MASTER OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE (Part 1)

This research based course allows you to:

  • Conduct a prescribed program of research in your own field of health
  • Submit a thesis (Similar to honours)
  • Undertake study over one year full-time or two years part-time
  • Complete a bridging program for a PhD

For course details on any postgraduate courses, visit Monash University's CourseFinder for further information about courses, application processes and forms. Some Commonwealth Supported Places are available to help with fees.
