Since completing my PhD (2002) I have been involved in teaching students from various disciplines such as pharmacy, nursing and medicine. I have had experience in reviewing numerous practice guidelines for nurse practitioners. Moreover, I have been involved in evaluating and improving practice guidelines for bush nurses to improve the quality care in the bush. More recently, I completed several audits addressing Quality Use of Medicines issues (QUM) as part of the Victorian advisory committees (VMAC) goals to ensure safe and appropriate use of Medicines in Australian Hospitals.
