World Mental Health
Composite International Diagnostic Interview

The Australasian CIDI Training and Reference Centre, located in the MUDRIH offices, provide training on the World Health Organisation CIDI Version 3.0. Version 3.0 is an expanded and updated version of the CIDI 2.1. The workshops provide training in the use of the World Mental Health Composite International Diagnostic Interview (WHM-CIDI). The workshops are conducted over three or four days (depending on the level of training required) and will cover a number of topics including data collection, editing, coding and data cleaning and will also provide hands on experience in the administration of the WMH-CIDI. The program will also include a set of home-study interactive CDs.

Training will be conducted in the Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) or the Paper and Pencil (PAPI) modes or both when required. Both modes are modularized so that the entire questionnaire or a specific subset of the WMH-CIDI can be administered. Upon successful completion of the training participants will receive a copy of the CAPI program or the most recent version of the PAPI instrument and a copy of the Blaise® Direct Data Entry Program. Participants will also receive the SAS diagnostic scoring algorithms. * Please note that a Blaise® license is required for each computer on which the CIDI software is installed and does not include the costs of SAS software of Blaise® licensing.
