Bachelor of Psychology and Business

Monash University Sunway campus Malaysia

The Bachelor of Psychology and Business is designed primarily for students who wish to apply psychological training to work in a business environment.

This degree is offered at Monash University Sunway campus and is a joint initiative of the School of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences and the Faculty of Business and Economics.

Why combine psychology and business?

Businesses are increasingly recognising the valuable contribution psychologists can make to their organisations. Psychologists primarily focus on helping businesses deal with people issues.  They use particular tools and techniques to improve how businesses select their staff, design and shape the culture of their organisation, design jobs, help develop employee satisfaction and motivation, implement and evaluate leadership and training programs, and provide career development.

Career opportunities

A vast range of careers are open for people with qualifications in both business and psychology.  Research suggests that job opportunities for both business and psychology graduates are growing.  Careers might include organisational psychologist, human resources manager, industrial relations consultant, market researcher, public policy advisor, training and development coordinator, international business manager.
Note: A career in psychology will require further study and training after completion of the Bachelor of Psychology and Business.
