Over the past 35 years Liz has had a varied career as a chemical engineer, alternative energy and environmental researcher, and health sector project officer.

Research Interests

Since completing her undergraduate arts studies in 2005, her interest has turned to undertaking qualitative research in health sociology. Her thesis is examining the social construction of being ‘at risk' in the context of the obesity ‘epidemic.' She is supported by an NHMRC Public Health Scholarship
