Dr. Jodi DeAraugo

Biography

Jodi DeAraugo is a senior lecturer and co-ordinator at Monash University for the School of Rural Health. The role includes organising and teaching for the psychiatry rotation for the MBBS 4th year students at Bendigo. She also co-ordinates the Depression, Anxiety, Research, and Treatment (DART) program at the Bendigo Health Care Group, and is a probationary psychologist with the Loddon Southern Mallee Campaspe Eating Disorders Service.

Jodi is currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Psychology (Clinical) degree at the University of Ballarat. She has completed the coursework and placement requirements, with her thesis currently under examination. Prior to her current appointments, Jodi has worked in a variety of areas including; general medical settings, outpatient’s appointments at the Queen Elizabeth Centre at Ballarat Health Services, the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) at Bendigo, a correctional female facility, and the DART program.

Teaching

Currently Jodi is involved with teaching the 4th year medical students MBBS for their psychiatry rotation in Bendigo.

In the past Jodi has lectured and tutored psychology, education, human movement, and nursing students in the undergraduate psychology program at the University of Ballarat.
