Dare Project

How Do I Get Involved?

The DARE project is operating in the following regions of Victoria:

  • Melbourne - CBD, inner and outer southern districts (Alfred Hospital, Melbourne; The Victoria Clinic, Prahran; Dandenong Hospital, Dandenong)
  • Geelong (The Geelong Clinic, St Albans Park)
  • Mornington Peninsula (Frankston Hospital, Frankston).

If you are interested in being a participant in the DARE project, please download either the "Information for participants" or the "Brochure for participants" to find out what is involved and how to join DARE. These two forms have essentially the same information but are in either A4 or DL formats.

Please note that not everyone who volunteers for this project will be able to take part because research projects such as this have selection criteria to guide who can participate. The use of selection criteria is an important principle of medical research that helps to produce reliable results. These criteria are not used to reject people personally but to identify suitable participants. If you would like to complete a screening form as a preliminary check for your eligibility, please download and complete the " Inclusion criteria screening form for participants".
