Organisational Psychology Research Group (OPRG)Projects and ServicesThe OPRG undertakes research projects and services in many areas related to Organisational Psychology. The following projects represent significant advancement of knowledge that is informing practice and making significant impacts in both the business and the health care industries. Leadership Development ProjectThe Leadership Development Project commenced in April 2004. The first stage of the project involved a major climate survey. The results of this survey informed the second stage of this project which involves the development of various programs, including leadership assessment, leadership development, performance management, mentoring and position descriptions. From a consulting perspective this project will be largely complete by the end of 2006, however, data collection and research will be ongoing. Multidisciplinary Teams Research ProjectMembers of the OPRG have been awarded a 3-year Australian Research Council grant to investigate the characteristics of successful multidisciplinary health care teams and determine how teams can manage a range of factors to deliver effective, sustainable and superior outcomes for all stakeholders. Change Management and Group/Team Development ActivitiesThe OPRG offers professional change management and group facilitation and development services including building high performing teams. Currently OPRG is providing facilitation sessions to a section of Monash University that is going through a major change in structure and practices. Research and Development ServicesThe OPRG offers research and development services in a variety of areas including talent management, succession planning, leadership development, transformational change and innovation.
