Natasha Marston

Natasha Marston graduated from Swinburne University of Technology in 2000, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a double major in Psychology and Psychophysiology and attained her honours in Psychophysiology. She commenced employment at DPRC in 2001, working with Dr Fitzgerald and Tim Brown on the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) program. Natasha assists with the conduction of both clinical treatment trials evaluating the efficacy of TMS in treating depression and psychopathology of schizophrenia such as auditory hallucinations or negative symptoms, and of investigative trials that administer TMS using techniques designed to probe brain function and adaptation in both psychiatric and non-psychiatric populations. Natasha is hoping to enrol in a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology next year and to base her research thesis around TMS and its applications.
