Overview of the APRC
The Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre (APRC) is part of the Department of Psychiatry (The Alfred) and the Department of Psychological Medicine (Monash University). APRC was established in early 2002 with the appointment of Jayashri Kulkarni as Professor of Psychiatry at The Alfred and Monash University.
APRC acts to coordinate and facilitate all research that is performed within The Alfred Department of Psychiatry. The core APRC team comprises a Director, Deputy Director, Research Manager, Clinical Research Assistants and Postgraduate students. Other staff members within the Department of Psychiatry conduct research in association with APRC, including medical and clinical staff.
