4th Year Application Information4th Year Programs offered by SPPPM for 2010The applications for 4th year courses offered by the School of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine for 2010 are closed. International Students Must complete two application forms. International students must apply on the above SPPPM application form AND MUST also apply through the Monash International Office to register and organise visas and other requirements. Applicants for Honours in the Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience degree other than Advanced Behavioural Neuroscience (i.e., generic Behavioural Neuroscience honours program) and Psychology Applicants for Honours in the Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience degree in the disciplines of PHYSIOLOGY, PHARMACOLOGY, ANATOMY, GENETICS, BIOCHEMISTRY, and IMMUNOLOGY must only complete the BNS Faculty Application Form (doc 96kb , pdf 47kb) and return the completed hardcopy to Applicants for Honours in the Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience degree applying for a place in PSYCHOLOGY or the Advanced Behavioural Neuroscience discipline SHOULD ONLY complete the web-based Psychology 4th Year Application Form Applicants for Honours in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science This Degree is administered through the School of Biological Sciences. Students applying for Honours in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science who wish to undertake their research with staff members of the School of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine need to apply to the School of Biomedical Sciences
Additional Application Materials Required In addition to the electronically submitted application form, a range of other application material will be required. These are outlined in detail on the application and, where appropriate, proforma are available in downloadable form. Please check the list below and make a note of those materials you will be required to send, and ensure that you send them to the address at the bottom of the page in time to arrive in the last mail on Friday 13 November 2009. Monash Students:Current Monash Students (including those completing 3rd year in 2009 at Monash):
Completed Degree StudentsCertified Academic TranscriptAll applicants other than current Monash University students must forward to the 4th year Administrative Assistant a certified copy of their Academic Transcript that includes both a mark and a grade for all subjects attempted. In addition, for students who have completed their degree, the Academic transcript must include a notification of degree completion and prove this on the transcript. Results Permission Forms (non-Monash applicants)Students currently completing the final year of their degree need to download and complete Results Permission Forms A and B. The selection of 4th year students for 2010 begins well before you receive formal notification of your final semester marks. Consequently we need your permission to seek from your University an early release of your marks. Without those marks we would not be able to consider you for selection. The Results Permission Form B must be sent/given to the 3rd Year Psychology Coordinator at your institution. Due to privacy regulations your institution will be unable to release your marks to us without your written permission. :
