Inaugural National Conference of Emerging & New Researchers in Gambling (ENERGI) Conference

VENUE: Monash University Conference Centre, 7^th Floor, 40 Collins St, Melbourne, Victoria.

The Problem Gambling Research and Treatment Centre are pleased to invite PhD, Professional Doctorate, Masters and Honours students to participate in the Inaugural Conference of Emerging and New Researchers In Gambling (ENERGI) to be held in Melbourne.

The ENERGI conference aims to showcase the latest gambling related research by bringing together emerging researchers in the field from a range of disciplines. All current PhD, Professional Doctorate, Masters and Honours students and previous graduates (within last 5 years) conducting such research are invited to submit an abstract for an oral presentation at the conference. The Problem Gambling Research and Treatment Centre will publish all presentations from the conference in a peer-reviewed Proceedings volume.

The theme of the ENERGI Conference is: Energising new and emerging researchers in gambling

Benefits of participating in ENERGI include:

• Presenting your research approach and findings to a diverse audience.
• Publication of your paper in peer reviewed conference proceedings.
• Networking with other emerging researchers conducting gambling related research from a wide range of disciplines.

Practitioners are strongly encouraged to attend the ENERGI conference because it will showcase the latest research by new and emerging researchers as well as providing opportunities for networking between researchers and practitioners to facilitate collaborative practice based research.
