China National Centre for General Practice Research and Development
The China National Centre for General Practice Research and Development is a joint development of the Chinese Ministry of Health, the Beijing Health Bureau and many Chinese and international universities. Its initial membership involves several dozen Chinese agencies including, ministries, provincial governments and over 200 individual members. Professor Browning, Thomas, Spike and Dr Yang have leadership positions within the national centre in its international academic committee. China through the Ministry of Health and its National Training Centre in Family Medicine located at China Capital Medical University is looking closely at Australian GP training models and primary care policy frameworks. We are actively engaged in this process.
