Biography
Miss Tiasha De Soysa was employed as a research assistant at the school of Primary Care in March 2010, working mainly within the Healthy Ageing Research Unit (HARU). Tiasha has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) at the University of Melbourne, a Postgraduate diploma of Psychology from Deakin University and a Master of Health and Human Services Management from Deakin University. Tiasha has been/is involved in the following activities:
- Updating materials that will be included in the study guides for the Master of Health Sciences course that will commence in 2011
- Data cleaning activities for MELSHA dataset
- Compiling grant applications
- Assistance with organising and facilitating a focus group comprised of elderly people
- Working on grant applications alongside senior researchers
