Sylvia Niele

Ms Sylvia Niele joined the team at the School of Primary Health Care as a research assistant in December 2008, working mainly within the Healthy Ageing Research Unit (HARU).  Sylvia is currently completing her Honours thesis for the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology which will be focusing on the cognitive testing phase of the Melbourne Longitudinal Studies on Healthy Ageing (MELSHA).  Sylvia is a student member of the Australian Psychological Society.  Current projects and activities include:

  • Working on the MELSHA project.
  • Part of the team developing clinical practice guidelines for problem gambling.
  • On the organising committee of the Emerging Researchers in Ageing (ERA) 2009 Conference taking place in October.
