Professor Colette Browning is recognised as a national and international leader in psychology and health. Her research focuses on healthy ageing and improving quality of life for older people, chronic disease self-management and consumer involvement in health care decision-making. Her achievements include:

  • Co-Director of the Melbourne Longitudinal Studies on Healthy Ageing program
  • Convener of the Healthy Ageing theme and Management Committee member of the Australian ARC/NHMRC Research Network in Ageing Well (2005-present) (http://www.ageingwell.edu.au/)
