Grant Writing Workshop
As an addition to the 2009 ERA Conference, we will be running a ½ day Grant Writing Workshop on Thursday 22nd October, from 12.30 to 5.00 pm, at Rydges, Melbourne. The workshop is FREE for PhD, Professional Doctorate and Masters’ students who are currently enrolled in a programme and whose research is focused on issues to do with human ageing.
This is an opportunity to gain an understanding of how to prepare grant applications, applications for post doctoral fellowships and how to approach other sources of funding for your research. These skills are an essential element of any research career, and developing these skills early will help you greatly in your future career development.
You can register for the workshop at the same time as you register for the ERA Conference, and please note that PLACES ARE LIMITED, so the best way to be sure of a place on the workshop is to register early. The workshop can only be taken in conjunction with the conference, and not as a separate registration.
