Healthy Ageing Research International activities

Professors Browning, Thomas, and Dr Yang are board members of the China National Centre for General Practice Research and Development. This is a joint development of the Chinese Ministry of Health, the Beijing Health Bureau and Chinese and international universities. Professor Browning serves on the International Scientific Advisory Council of the International Research Centre Healthy on Ageing and Longevity. Dr Feldman is Secretary of the Research Committee on Ageing of the International Sociological Association and is on the Executive Committee of the International Consortium for Intergenerational Programming.

Prof Colette Browning and Dr Harriet Radermacher travelled to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in March 2009. The purpose of this trip was to develop research collaborations with Monash University Sunway Campus and Universiti Putra Malaysia.
