Healthy Ageing Research UnitThe Healthy Ageing Research Unit (HARU) was established in September 2006 as a collaboration between Monash Institute of Health Services Research and the School of Primary Health Care. Professor Colette Browning is the Director of HARU and Director of Monash Research for an Ageing Society (MonRAS). (www.agingresearchinitiative.monash.org) . She is the Convener of the Healthy Ageing Theme of the ARC/NHMRC Research Network in Ageing Well (www.ageingwell.edu.au ). MissionOur mission is to conduct research of the highest international standards that is designed to improve quality of life for older people while recognising the dynamic and diverse nature of the ageing population in the community.
