Ian Hughes-2009 Scholar in Residence Professor Ian Hughes was the Education Scholar in Residence in the School of Biomedical Sciences for 2009. Professor Hughes is a Senior Fellow of the Faculty of Biological Sciences at the University of Leeds and is a world renowned expert in the field of bioscience education. In the week of 19-23 October 2009, Professor Hughes gave a series of seminars on issues surrounding biomedical science education.
