Clinical supervisor roles

Southern Clinical School seeks suitably qualified medical practitioners to join its growing undergraduate education programs at Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, and Casey Hospital.

Monash University’s MBBS is taught exclusively at clinical sites in years 3-5. Southern Clinical School is the largest clinical teaching site with programs in Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, O&G, Emergency Medicine as well as other disciplines. The School is committed to innovation and excellence in clinical teaching and is seeking to markedly increase its clinical teaching and support staff across all sites.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Teaching Programs, Clinical Supervisors will be involved in bedside clinical teaching, assessment, mentoring and support, and in coordination of teaching materials and programs.

Applicants will be registered medical practitioners with general or specialist qualifications, hospital medical officers, or advanced trainees in College training programs. Multiple appointments will be made on part or full-time basis depending on preferences of the successful applicants.
