Southern Clinical School is based at Monash Medical Centre (MMC), Clayton and provides high quality teaching and
training to Monash University undergraduates and postgraduates studying in Medicine related fields. In addition to
education the School's clinical departments conduct independent nationally competitive clinical/translation research.
SCS is at the forefront of clinical/translational research, with demonstrated research strengths in cardiovascular and
inflammatory diseases, surgery and neurosciences. Our clinical academic staff work closely with colleagues in
Southern Health to shape the health professionals of the future.
