Departments in the Southern Clinical School
Southern Clinical School is based at Monash Medical Centre (MMC) Clayton although academic activities extend to other clinical sites including Dandenong, Moorabbin, Frankston and Casey Hospitals and the Kingston Centre. The School provides high quality teaching and training to Monash undergraduates studying Medicine and Nutrition & Dietetics.
In addition to education the School's clinical departments conduct independent nationally competitive clinical/translation research. Our medical researchers collaborate locally with Southern Health, the three MMC based research Institutes and other Monash groups. They also draw upon well developed national/international links in areas of research strengths.
