Paul graduated from RMIT in diagnostic radiography in 1980 and returned to take up a lecturing position in 1987. He held several senior positions at RMIT before being appointed Head of the Department of Medical Radiations Science in 2001,with overall responsibility for the management, teaching and research activities in the areas of radiography, radiation therapy and nuclear medicine. He joined Monash University in 2006 as the Ultrasound Coordinator in the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences. Currently in his second term on the Council, Paul was appointed Secretary of the Australasian Sonographers Accreditation Registry in 2010. He has contributed to over 36 papers and presentations at national and international conferences. His research interests are in the areas of radiography, ultrasound and clinical skills assessment.
