Research at the department
Research Projects in 2010The Department of Medical Imaging & Radiation Sciences has a range of research projects on offer for MPhil and PhD candidates. Most projects are conducted with collaborating departments and clinical sites. The projects are guides only and if students are interested in any of the topics, they are encouraged to get in touch with the contact person and discuss their interests and needs. We endeavour to tailor each student with the best project and supervisor. Students who want to pursue a topic of their choice are encouraged to discuss it with our research coordinator. In almost all cases, we can put together an experienced clinical and academic supervisory team to guide the students through their research. Time requirement for research is flexible and can in most instances be integrated as part of the routine work of each candidate. Please contact our research coordinator Dr Michal Schneider-Kolsky for more information on 03 99051348 or via email on Michal.schneider-kolsky@med.monash.edu.au.
