My name is Laura Campagna and I am doing research with the supervision of Dr Russell Conduit, a member of the Psychology Department from Monash University in Melbourne, towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology. This means that I will be writing a research project. I am seeking university students/staff and members of the general public over 18 years of age to take part in this research. If you are under 18, you are unable to take part in this research.
I am interested in dream recall frequency and it's association with various personality characteristics and cognitive abilities. There will be a list of multiple-choice questions about your dream recall, attention, memory and imagery ability. I hope my research will contribute to existing theoretical knowledge regarding dreaming and dream recall.
The questionnaire will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and can be done at a time suitable to yourself. Participation is entirely voluntary and you may withdraw at any stage by not submitting the questionnaire. If you feel that any of the questions are too personal or intrusive, you may avoid these questions and return the questionnaire with some questions left unanswered. Although it is unlikely that you will find any of the questions upsetting, if this does occur, you should discontinue working on the questionnaire and feel free to contact any of the phone numbers listed at the end to discuss any issues that it might have brought up for you.
Everyone who participates in this research will remain anonymous. Only the combined results of all participants will be published. Only my supervisor and I will have access to the data, which will be stored for five years as prescribed by the university regulations. Participants will be informed of the overall results through this website.
