Applications for Psychology Honours are made online for commencement in the following year. Please be advised that there is no mid-year intake for this course. All offers of a place in the Honours program by the School of Psychology and Psychiatry are subject to approval of the applicant's qualifications by the relevant Faculty.
Additional Requirements (Domestic students only)
Applicants, other than current and completed Monash students, must supply an original or certified copy of official academic transcripts, showing units attempted, grade and mark, and where applicable, evidence of successful completion. Applicants must also supply proof of Australian citizenship or permanent residency (for study at Australian campuses only). An official offer cannot be made until this documentation has been received.
Your University should be able to provide you with a certified copy of your transcript. If this is not possible then you will need to obtain certification that the copy you have made is true and accurate.
Results Permission Forms (non-Monash applicants):
Students currently completing the final year of their degree must submit results permission forms A and B. Selection begins before you receive formal notification of your final semester marks, consequently we need your permission to request an early release of marks from your university. Once you have submitted permission forms A and B, there is no need for you to send an updated transcript once your final results are released. Short listed applicants will be asked to provide an updated transcript, including confirmation of completion to assist in the approval process of applicant qualifications by the relevant Faculty.
Results Permission Form B must be submitted to the 3rd Year Psychology Coordinator or Administrative staff member at your home institution. Due to privacy regulations, your institution will be unable to release your marks to us without your written permission. [doc - 28kb] [pdf - 14kb]
