Purpose

To ensure a consistent grading scale is used for the evaluation and recording of assessments for all postgraduate coursework courses and units in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.

Scope
|
The policy applies to all postgraduate coursework programs managed by the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences.

Policy Statement
|
The Faculty requires each School/Department to apply the University’s Standard Unit Grading Schema, as outlined in the Grading Scale Policy, when awarding grades for postgraduate coursework units (including Honours equivalent courses). Accordingly, the University’s Honours Grading Schema cannot be applied to any postgraduate coursework degree offered by the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences for final unit results or course completions.
