Rebecca Flower is a Research Assistant in the Blood Pressure Regulation group. As a group we focus on the kidney and it's control of blood pressure. She works with Dr. Kate Denton and their current interests inlcude maternal programming of offspring blood pressure, the development of renal nerves, hypertension and its effects on the function of renal nerves and the control of glomerular ultrafiltration.  Previously, they have also studied the effects of ACE inhibitors (blood pressure lowering drugs) and various other vasodilators/constrictors on the kidney.
