Profile

Sophie graduated with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from The University of Melbourne in 2000. Since then she has gained broad clinical experience in acute and rehabilitation settings with some senior experience in orthopaedic and cardiothoracic physiotherapy. Her current position includes coordinating first year units (PTY1011, PTY1022) and contributing to the ongoing development of this new curriculum.

With a passion for anatomy, Sophie hopes to pursue this through further research into best practice methods for anatomy teaching that may translate into enhancing clinical skills of undergraduate physiotherapy students.

  • Examining two different approaches to OSCE marking
  • Anatomy teaching programs – dissection, prosection and drawing skills.
