HDR Fields of Education
The University is required to report to DEST the number of HDR (PhD or research masters) students enrolled within each discipline. These enrolment statistics determine how much funding the University receives in Research Training Scheme funding from the government.
The academic department is required to nominate the Field of Education and ASCED code for each new HDR student.
