Teaching and Learning Performance

The Learning and Teaching Performance Fund (LTPF) is administered by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations to reward universities for excellence in learning and teaching for undergraduate students. In 2008, the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University was one of only five such faculties within Australian universities to be graded in the top echelon for Discipline 4: Health, and was rewarded for its performance with an allocation of $1.202m – with the next highest allocation being $0.716m.

This ranking by the Australian Government categorically recognises Monash University as being number one amongst Australian universities for learning and teaching performance in Health disciplines.

Further information on the Australian Government's Teaching and Learning Perfomance Fund is available from the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations website.
