Research Interests

Mr Chien current research interest is related to apply classical test theory and the Item Response Theory (Rasch Measurement model) to develop and validate outcome measures in paediatric occupational therapy, e.g., the Peabody Developmental Motor Scale and children’s hand skill assessments.

Professional Activities

To develop an observational children’s hand skill assessment using the Rasch Measurement model (Doctoral research)
