Dr Ursula Manuelpillai

Dr Ursula Manuelpillai joined the Department after completing her PhD studies in 1999 as a post doctoral scientist and works with Assoc Professor Euan Wallace, Assoc Professor Peter Rogers and Dr Beverley Vollenhoven.
Ursula had adapted her expertise is placental growth and function to study placental factors that contribute to the development of major pregnancy disorders such as pre-eclampsia. She is also investigating the interactions between growth factors and sex hormones in the growth of uterine fibroids.
