Activities of the Education Program in Reproduction and Development (EPRD)

Since 1987 the Education Program in Repoduction and Development (formerly known as the Education Program in Reproductive Biology) has provided postgraduate, public and professional education in the area of reproduction and development bioscience and medicine.

Postgraduate Courses

In 1988 the EPRD (then known as the Centre for Reproductive Biology) introduced the Graduate Diploma in Reproductive Sciences to an initial class of four students. The following year the Master of Reproductive Sciences was implemented. Since then the Program has expanded and evolved considerably. For the past few years combined enrolment in these courses has been approximately 30 students each year. The program has also gained a reputation both in Australia and overseas for providing a thorough training and background for work in reproduction and development.

In 1999 the Master of Clinical Embryology was introduced to cater for the strong demand for a practical course for IVF personnel.
