An Academic since 2002 on the Gippsland campus my first love is emergency and trauma nursing. I worked in both Metropolitan and rural clinical settings in emergency and intensive care units. Teaching nurses is the most amazing experience being able to help students to develop clinical skills, develop communication strategies and intra-professional attributes. As the Gippsland clinical Coordinator I have had the opportunity and great pleasure to work with our industry partners across the region to ensure students have best learning opportunities.

Research Interests

• RAN project - interviewing remote area nurses in outback QLD.
• Resuscitation team work Clinical evaluation tool development Clinical Fellowship program in collaboration with Latrobe Regional Hospital.
