Carolina WellerGCHE (MONASH) M. Ed Research (RMIT) BN (RMIT)
Carolina Weller (currently a doctoral scholar at the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Patient Safety in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventative Medicine at the Monash University). Carolina’s background is in health sciences education with an interest in interdisciplinary approaches to learning and teaching. Her clinical expertise is primarily in wound care with a focus on evidence based practice and randomised controlled trials. Her background spans across education, clinical practice and research as well as health policy development. Carolina has a clinical role in a multi disciplinary wound clinic where she also mentors undergraduate and post graduate students in the area of evidence based wound care practice and chronic wound healing. Carolina’s PhD research project is a pilot randomised controlled clinical trial to compare the effectiveness of two compression bandaging systems in the management of people with venous ulceration.
