ARC Future Fellowships is a scheme that promotes research in Australia in areas of critical national importance through attracting and retaining outstanding mid-career researchers. Currently many highly qualified mid-careers researchers choose to work overseas due to limited opportunities in Australia. Future Fellowships help address this problem and boosts Australia’s research and innovation capacity.
Our successful Future Fellows are:
Dr Onisha Patel (Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)
A molecular and functional investigation of innate-like T cells of the immune system
Dr Stephanie Gras (Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)
An investigation into the basis of the T-cell mediated adaptive immune response
Dr Matthew McKenzie (Centre for Reproduction and Development)

The ARC Linkage Projectsscheme funds collaborative research and development projects in order to acquire new knowledge, and which involve risk or innovation. Linkage Projects foster opportunities for internationally competitive high-quality research in Australia in collaboration with organisations outside the higher education sector.
