The delegation, accompanied by the Chancellor Dr Alan Finkel,  Professor Edwina Cornish Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) and Professor Stephanie Fahey Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International), were taken on a tour of the Monash Immunology and Stem Cell Laboratories (MISCL) by Professor Richard Boyd. Scientists in each laboratory discussed their research with stem cells in various experimental models

Senator the Hon Kim Carr visited the MISCL following the official opening  of   Monash Antibody Technologies Facility (MATF),  on Wed, 6th August, 2008. Minister Carr, accompanied by the Chancellor Alan Finkel, Vice-Chancellor Richard Larkins and Deputy Vice Chancellor Research Edwina Cornish were escorted on a tour of the laboratories by Professor Richard Boyd, Director, MISCL.
