Representatives from King Khaled University, a public university in Abha, Saudi Arabia founded in 1999, visited MISCL. They were in Australia to discuss possibilities and options available for International Cooperation between Monash University and King Khalid University in the areas of:

Senator the Hon Kim Carr visited the MISCL following the official opening  of   Monash Antibody Technologies Facility (MATF),  on Wed, 6th August, 2008. Minister Carr, accompanied by the Chancellor Alan Finkel, Vice-Chancellor Richard Larkins and Deputy Vice Chancellor Research Edwina Cornish were escorted on a tour of the laboratories by Professor Richard Boyd, Director, MISCL.
