What We Do:

We are a core pluripotent stem cell facility supporting StemCell research in Australia via the provision of human embryonic (hES) and induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell products, services and training.

StemCore allows research laboratories to increase their efficiencies and out puts through outsourcing of commonplace or specialised activities including distribution of hESC and iPSC lines nationally and internationally, provision of ready for experiment hESC and iPSC in multiple formats including feeder free and serum free conditions and also in other formats (e.g. cryotubes, cryostraws or cell lysates) also feeder cultures with the manufacture and distribution of mef's.

We also provide expansion of cell lines, laboratory based training in the fundamental aspects of pluripotent stem cell culture and analysis which can be be tailored to fit specific stem cell needs, mycoplasma testing, outsourcing of Karyotyping, differentiated stem cell products (e.g. neurospheres and embryoid bodies) plus other custom services developed as per customer needs. We have highly skilled and experienced staff to ensure a quality service.
