Funding

The Centre has received research funding from Monash University, National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia (NHMRC), National Heart Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Australian Kidney Foundation, Baxter Health Care, Arthritis Foundation of Australia, Scleroderma Foundation of Victoria, Victorian Lupus Foundation and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. In addition, we have funding from commercial collaborations.

In 2001, the Centre for Inflammatory Diseases was awarded a substantial five year NHMRC program grant in recognition of our national and international competitiveness. In 2005, the Centre's NMHRC Program Grant was funded for a further five year period.
