Beckman Coulter MoFlo XDP
The Beckman Coulter MoFlo XDP is a high speed cell sorter. It
is equipped with 3 lasers, 2 light scatter detectors and 11 fluorescence
detectors. The instrument is equipped with a temperature
controlled waterbath to keep samples and collected samples at a
required temperature (2�C - 37�C). An aerosol containment unit with filter is also attached for operator safety. Up
to 4-way sorts are available and samples can be sorted into plates
(1536-, 384-, 96-, 24-, wells), 12x75mm FACS tubes, 1.5mL eppendorfs,
15mL centrifuge tubes (2-way sort only), 50mL centrifuge tube (2-way
sort only) and onto standard slides. The instrument uses a 70�m
nozzle and runs at a pressure of 60psi. With this setup, it is
capable of running samples at speeds of up to 40,000 cells/second.
