• Clinical trials of new agents for acute treatment of migraine attacks
• Clinical trials of agents for acute stroke treatment and secondary stroke prevention
• Validation of clinical neuro-otological laboratory investigation techniques
• Investigation of the distribution and properties of ataxin 2 - the protein deranged in spinocerebellar ataxia type 2.
• Immunocytochemical investigation of the distributions of APP (the amyloid precursor protein of Alzheimer's disease) versus APLP2 (a highly homologous member of the same family of proteins which is not implicated in Alzheimer's disease).
